My first observation went very well on March 18,2015. Tutor welcome both the students well. She then asked one to look over his paper to see what does he thinks is wrong With his paper. While she helped other student on her paper. Her body language looked very good. She stood up every well and showed interest in the tutee work and questions. Tutor did focus on high order concerns such as what was their thesis and how the paragraphs should be in order. She also was asking more questions to the tutee to get out the information the tutee needed. Both students had problems defining what their thesis was. She explained to both students that in some articles you can defined the thesis of the paper in the tittle. The tutor was also patient with her tutee. They both kept repeating the same questions. She calmly try to explain an example so that they would understand. Also cheers them on when they figure out their thesis. I'm hoping that my next observation will be just as good as this one. It is expected.
